Welcome to the Deorfrith Morris website. We are a mixed morris side, based in Lyndhurst, that performs dances both in Cotswold and Border styles.
Summer 2013
Yes, I know, it's a way off yet, but the signs are there. With Easter just a blink away, the weather is still refusing to settle and most days are still cold, but the dance out programme is beginning to take shape and we have already confirmed some bookings for the coming season.The side has attended a couple of useful workshops during the winter, collecting at least one new dance for 2013, and practice sessions at Deorfrith Lodge continue at a frantic pace. The more hardy of you can see the fruits of our efforts when we Dance in the Dawn by Wilverley Inclosure at 5:15am on May Day. Morris sides all over the country will be keeping this tradition and you are welcome to come along to watch our contribution.
